I stayed at Dean's Place while travelling for work, and I would highly recommend! The location is rural and scenic, the room was cosy and good value, and the staff were all very polite and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was really good, and they were even able to arrange a 'packed breakfast' on the morning that I needed to leave early! Highly recommend.

What a fantastic hotel, stunning location and building with amazing views and gardens. We recently got married at Deans Place. From when we arrived on the Friday lunchtime until the moment us and our guests we couldn't have been better looked after. Nothing was too much for your teams and they made us, and our guests feel so welcome. We would like to make special mentions to Michelle, Alex and especially Caroline. Michelle took an instant shine to my wife's 28-year-old daughter Justine who has special needs and was very attentive towards her making sure she had everything she wanted. Alex ensured we had everything we needed, and nothing was too much trouble. Alex was quietly working away in the background making sure everything was running smoothly. Lastly but not least, our special thanks to Caroline who from when we first made contact in January 2021 during the covid restrictions until we left on the Monday morning following our wedding could not have done anything more to ensure our wedding was a special day for us. From when we arrived, to arranging the dinner meal for us and 32 guests staying on the Friday night and the wedding day itself. the Her attention to detail on the day ensured it went seamlessly and went without any hiccups, certainly none that we were aware of. Caroline particularly helped to keep Mandy, my bride, calm throughout which we both appreciate. We cannot praise Caroline and the Deans Place team highly enough. Caroline made ‘our special day a perfect day’ supported by an amazing team. Stunning, amazing location and excellent staff. Deans Place will always be a special place to us and we visit regularly.

Booked for lunch in the Restaurant, but decided to eat in the bar, as it felt more cosy and the menu was the same. The service was spot on and not over the top. The food was plenty, nicely presented and very tasty. Only thing I found a bit dated was the Gravadlax on slate tiles. The Gravadlax was beautifully fresh and super tasty, but I prefer to have my food on a plate and not on a roof slate. The slate tile thing is a bit dated now. Really looking forward to going back again.

Had a really great Sunday lunch at Dean's Place Hotel to celebrate my Mum's 94th birthday. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was excellent. Best roast beef and Yorkshire pudding I've ever had!Thoroughly recommend. Sep 2023 - we came back this year for Mum's 95th birthday and had another lovely meal. We were served by the same friendly waiter who remembered us from last year. Loyalty of staff is a great sign of a good hotel/restaurant. Well done Dean's Place!
